Welcome to IX Forum!

This will be the 16th edition of IX Forum, an event promoted by NIC.br (Brazilian Network Information Center), CGI.br (Brazilian Internet Steering Committee) and IX.br (Brazil Internet Exchange).

  • IX Forum is an annual event that began in 2007 and aims to provide an opportunity for discussion of issues related to Internet infrastructure in the country.

We invite the participants of IX.br, Autonomous Systems, vendors, and the Internet community to present at the IX Forum 16. The event will be held on October 26 to 28, in São Paulo, Brazil.

IX.br (PTT) Forum is the meeting of Brazilian Autonomous Systems. The event is about issues relevant to the development of the Internet in Brazil and around the world, focusing on its technical infrastructure and on the role of Internet Exchange Points.

Sending proposals

We will receive proposals by email eventos@ix.br , containing:
      - subject: IX (PTT) Forum 16 - proposal - [title of its proposal]
      - full title of the work to be presented
      - abstract (abstract) extended up to 500 words, and a draft of the slides
      - time required for the presentation
      - full name of the authors, e-mail, short-bio, organization name
