The IX Forum 20 is part of the Internet Infrastructure Week in Brazil

Welcome to IX Forum!

On December 9th and 10th, 2026, we will hold the 20th edition of the IX Forum, an event promoted by the Brasil Internet Exchange (IX.br), Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br), and the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br).

The IX Forum is an annual event, which since 2007 has provided an environment for dialogue on the main issues related to Internet infrastructure in the Brazil.

It has become one of the main meeting points for the Internet community in Brazil, expanding the interaction of the virtual environment of video conferences and messaging, to end the year full of knowledge exchange and fraternization between friends.

Call for presentations

NIC.br invites Autonomous System operators, IX.br participants, Internet Service Providers, content providers, equipment vendors, researchers, and the entire Internet community to submit presentation proposals for IX Fórum 20, which will take place on December 9–10, 2026, in São Paulo, Brazil.

In its 20th edition, IX Fórum will once again bring together the technical community to discuss trends, challenges, experiences, and innovations related to Internet infrastructure, while also fostering networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration opportunities.

Over the past two decades, IX Fórum has established itself as one of Brazil\'s leading technical events on Internet infrastructure, promoting knowledge exchange among network operators, service providers, equipment vendors, researchers, and other professionals from across the Internet ecosystem.

Proposal Submission

Please send your proposal by email to forum@ix.br. Your submission should include:

Subject: IX Fórum 20 - proposal - [your proposal title]
Full presentation title
Extended abstract (up to 500 words) describing the content and objectives
Draft slides or the final presentation (if already available)
Full name of the author(s), email address, short biography, and organization
Preferred presentation format:
- Lightning Talk (10 minutes)
- Standard Presentation (30 minutes)
- Panel or other format (please specify the proposed duration and provide a brief justification)

Proposal submission deadline: September 25, 2026
Notification of acceptance: October 30, 2026
Final presentation (PDF) deadline: November 27, 2026
